A Closed Species is a fictional species created and owned by a specific person. Unlike Open Species, where anyone can create a character, Closed Species restrict the creation of new members. If you want a Bloodormar or Maar, you must obtain one through official means, such as purchasing an adoptable, acquiring a MYO (Make Your Own) slot, or trading.
An Open Species is a type of fictional species where anyone is free to create their own character without needing permission from the creator. Bloodormars and Maars are not an Open Species, meaning that any character must be officially obtained.
Anyone aged 18 or older is welcome to join the community, provided they agree to follow the server rules (see TOS).
Admins: They manage the Bloodormar community, enforce rules, and oversee events, sales, and character approvals.
Moderators: They assist the admins in maintaining a friendly and fair community.
Guest Artists: These are artists authorized to create and sell official Bloodormar or Maar designs under specific conditions set by Akaronpa.
There are several ways to obtain a Bloodormar or Maar:
Purchasing an official adoptable during sales.
Trading with another owner (if the character’s trading status allows it).
Obtaining a MYO (Make Your Own) slot during events or sales. For more details, you can join the Discord server!
Note : Official sales (of characters and MYO tickets are available on Discord).
A MYO (Make Your Own) slot is a ticket that allows you to design your own Bloodormar/Maar while following the species' rules and traits.
Before creating your character from a MYO, check the official MYO guide and traits list to ensure your design is valid. Once ready, submit it for approval before it becomes an official Bloodormar/Maar.
A custom Bloodormar/Maar is a character designed specifically for you based on your preferences. These are created only by Akaronpa, and you must commission him directly to request one. No one else is allowed to create custom Bloodormars/Maars.
Anyone aged 18 or older is welcome to join the community, provided they agree to follow the server rules (see TOS).

Here, you can read and discover Bloodormar and Maar lore and history : UNIVERSE.
Yes, they can!
Bloodormar have advanced technology that allows them to travel through space, meaning they can encounter species from other universes.
Maar, however, have limited travel abilities, as they do not possess the same level of technology.
Interactions must still make sense—if another species can also travel through space, then yes, they can meet!
Boolood is a community currency earned by being active within the Bloodormar species (mainly through the official Discord server). You gain it by participating in events, games, quests, and engaging with the species. The more you take part, the more you're rewarded ! It's a way to thank you for your involvement by offering small rewards.
With Boolood, you can purchase items in the official shop to customize your Bloodormar, buy MYOs when available, and sometimes get discounts or access exclusive Boolood-only adopts during rare events.
Your balance can be checked in the official “Bloodormar Bank & Inventory” list.
Quests are a brand-new feature (2025)! They’re designed to encourage interaction and bring more life to the species! You can win rewards for each Quests! See Quest page.
Starting in May 2025, a "Quests" tab will appear on the Discord server. Inside, you’ll find various small missions like : "Invite a friend to the species", "Create something inspired by your Bloodormar" or “Share a species post on your social media” etc.
Important : Quests are not automated, we'll check it manually! To receive your rewards, you must submit proof (screenshot + link) in the dedicated #quest-approval channel on our Discord.

Yes, but only for personal use. These alternate versions are not canon and cannot be sold or used as official designs.

Short answer : Yes. Bloodormar and all Zhenista Closed Species are protected, both legally and ethically.
Long answer : An idea alone (like “thinking about a fantasy species”) is not protected by copyright. However, what is protected, both under French law and international law (through the Berne Convention) is the concrete expression of that idea. This includes:
The visual design of the species (key traits, overall appearance, rarity system).
The lore, worldbuilding, naming conventions, and creation rules.
All associated visual artwork, texts, logos, and terminology.
As our teams is French, under French Intellectual Property Code (Article L111-1), the author automatically holds exclusive rights over any original creation. No registration required. This protection is recognized internationally through the Berne Convention (Article 5), which applies in over 180 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and EU.
In resume: while anyone can invent their own creature, recreating or using the specific traits, systems, or world of the Closed Species without permission is considered copyright infringement, just like copying a character design or tracing someone’s art.
When you purchase a Design or create your own using a MYO, you're not only buying a design : you're receiving a license to use that design within a specific creative framework, under rules defined by the species’ creator. This license protects both you and the artist and ensures the community stays fair and respectful.
It’s not just about money. It’s about:
Respecting the work of the creator
Ensuring consistency within the community
Preventing abuse or misuse of the species’ identity
Join our community and their advantage
