What is a Bloodormar / a Maar ?

Bloodormar are a slily parasitic closed species. Without host, a Bloodormar looks like a slime worm and is called "Bloodorworm".
They are highly intelligent and adapt easily to any environment. On their home planet, another species coexists with them: the Maars. The Maar is their natural host on the Zhenista-Planet. These aliens have varied anatomies and a mix of reptilian/canine facial features. Male and female look the same, females do not have breasts.

Bloodormar are able to shape in anything they like or can be useful

Maars are the primary hosts for Bloodormar, which parasitize them as soon as their eggs are laid. Bloodormar take advantage of inattentive Maar parents to act. To do this, a Bloodormar makes a tiny hole in the eggshell and separates a small part of itself, often mixed with genetic material from another Bloodormar after reproduction, allowing it to enter the egg and infest the embryo.

A Bloodormar can also parasitize an adult Maar if it is too weak to defend itself or severely ill. In this case, the parasite will simply ingest part of itself, which will then develop inside the host in the same manner.

As the infestation progresses, the Bloodormar usually takes full control of the Maar’s consciousness. In rare cases, some Maars remain aware of the infestation, but cohabitation is difficult and unstable.

The age of a Bloodormar can be determined by the size of the internal parasite protruding from the Maar’s body, the larger it is, the older the parasite. The average lifespan of a Bloodormar is approximately 200 years.

Bloodormar can be pretty unique and varied.

This world is home to many different species, both flora and fauna.

The climate is quite harsh, with a risk of acid rain.
While there are many biomes, the majority of the planet is covered by four main ones:

🏜️ Desert (Sandy desert areas)
🌄 Arid (Rocky grand canyons)
🏖️ Swamp (Wetlands with large lakes)

How to get a Bloodormar / a character ?

Bloodormars and all species from the planet Zhenista are Closed Species, original creations by Akaronpa. Only Akaronpa (or occasionally approved Guest Artists) can create and sell Bloodormar designs. This means you cannot freely create your own Bloodormar or Maar.

However, there are many ways to obtain a Bloodormar/Maar!

BUY ADOPTS

The most common way to get a Bloodormar is through set-price sales or auctions. Sales are announced across all Bloodormar platforms.

MYO

MYO tickets let you create your own Bloodormar! You can design it yourself or commission an artist. These tickets are regularly available (see MYO).

TRADE WITH MEMBERS

Members can freely trade or sell their Bloodormars, mainly on Discord, but also through other platforms.
For external sales, always verify ownership on Discord before purchasing.
